As part of our first ever photography gallery show Spark has arranged with area photographer Linda Fugate on Saturday, July 18th beginning at 9 am and lasting approximately two hours. The walk begins at Spark’s studios at 251 Jefferson St., in Greenfield.
Cost of the event is $20 which includes a $10 certificate from Walgreens to have two of 8″ x 10″ photos printed, two mats for use in framing your photos, a laminated “cheat sheet” to help you understand and remember manual camera settings, and light refreshments at Spark’s studios.
To pre register you may do so using Eventbrite or at Spark on the morning of the event. If you choose to not use Eventbrite please submit the following contact form so we’ll have some advanced idea of attendance.

DETAILS of EVENT…
Wikipedia says Photowalking is, “The act of walking with a camera for the main purpose of taking pictures of things that the photographer finds of interest.” With that in mind Linda Fugate will be offering a two-hour photowalk of the business district of Greenfield during the annual Greene Countrie Towne Festival on Saturday, July 18th.
Linda’s discription of the event is, “A walking tour of Greenfield’s structures, buildings, and public areas. The areas covered could range from a minimum of the Ralph Phillips Recreational Center (Armory) to McClain High School. Doors and/or windows happen to be one of the special categories for the Highland County Fair Photography Show this year. It is with in mind I chose this particular downtown area. Of course, there are also other things to photograph… windows boxes and displays, the public fountain, park benches, flags, the beauty of building trims and facades, etc. The tour will be open to the use of any type camera, cell phone cameras included. Expensive photography equipment is not necessary.”
The $20 dollar registration fee will include light refreshments at Spark’s studios, a $10 gift certificate to Walgreens for photo printing, two mats suitable for framing 8″ x 10″ prints, a laminated “photo cheat sheet” to aid in understanding and utilizing the manual settings of your camera, and light refreshments at Spark’s studios. Linda will be available to offer advise during the walk.
There are no limits on the number of participants and to pre register you may sign up online by using Eventbrite or send us your information via email and paying in person at the beginning of the event.
At the conclusion of the walk you’re also invited to spend some time viewing the gallery photography show on display inside Spark’s studios. A presentartion of fourty framed exhibits by local and area photographers. The show is the presentation of the area photography club, Film Foggers.
